  • Conflicting data exists in the association of low levels of Vitamin D with breast cancer
  • A small case control study showed  a relationship between low levels of 25(OH)D and increased risk of breast cancer
  • Nurses Health Study showed increase intake of Vitamin D was associated with lower risk of breast cancer
  • Although, data is limited, studies are under way to prove a relationship between Vitamin D and breast cancer
