Interpretation of the Results
- You will receive total Vitamin D, 25(OH)D2 and 25(OH)D3 in our clear and easy-to-read results document
- As Vitamin D2 supplementation is not common here in the UK , a low result for 25(OH)D2 is no cause for alarm, unless you are on special Vitamin D2 supplements
- 25(OH)D3 results are relevant for everyone who takes a Vitamin D test
- Low levels (depending on the range) may require a visit to your doctor to discuss the matter with reference to your medical history
- Evidence suggests that seasonal factors may cause 25(OH)D levels to vary
- If your Vitamin D levels are low, we recommend you discuss your results with a medical practitioner
