Vitamin D is a fat soluble vitamin also known as sunshine vitamin. The greatest source of Vitamin D is sun exposure. It can also be ingested in diet. There are two major types of Vitamin D; D2 and D3. Vitamin D3 is mainly produced by skin via sun exposure and Vitamin D2 is taken from diet.
